NVC approved my expedited case, what does it mean now ?

Dear members,

I received an email from NVC that US Embassy has approved to expedite my wife's case and that NVC has sent her immigrant visa application to the embassy. 

 

What does this mean timewise ? Has anyone else had an expedited case if yes, please share your experience.

Depends which embassy you talking about.

Mine was expedited too but with condition.

NVC has to DQ me before expedite can happen.

US Embassy in Anakara, Turkey.

This without condition so I'm having my hopes very high it has been a very long time and mental health is down the toilet now.

so,  Turkey is slow at interviewing all cases

if you check the portal page here,  there is 1 K1 scheduled

and checking to see if any (i think 5 or 6 ) have been approved by embassy doesn't help as they may have been in long AP with interiews prior to covid

Now that you id turkey as country ,  i think VJ members from there can advise you

but it does help to go to the portal and read other Posts from members

you hit the word portal at the this page

It takes u to Turkey and there u can read posts from others going thru same embassy

also on that page u can to to embassy reviews and read them

It means it will get to the embassy faster but does not mean you will get to the front of the line
