You must file an I-90 to have the mistake by USCIS corrected.

I agree with this. I got married in December 2018 and filed 2 months later and of course initially it was for the CR1. However, currently on the CEAC site, it says IR1. They adjusted it. Sounds like yours was never adjusted and they did make a mistake. If I were you, I would follow what Lucky is saying. It makes the most sense. Who wants to deal with immigration before they have to.

There was one person who received the replacement green card within 2 weeks. Not saying you may receive that as well in 2 weeks, but filing i90 online asap is the best way to go. Nothing is required. Just check the option of DHS error and upload photos of GC.

I will do just that

You got CR1 because you filled few months after your marriage not the day you got admitted into the US. What status do you have on your visa before you left your country? IR1 or CR1

you are incorrect Sir/ma. it does not matter when they filed, what qualifies him for 10yrs card is if at the time he was admitted into the country the marriage is 2 years or more and if it was less than than 2yrs at the time he was admitted into the country he will only get 2yrs card. @Orafu LAWRENCE it was a mistake from USCIS

CR1 is what you have... if you filed after 2 years of marriage before your i-130 got approved then you get IR1 for 10 years green card.

It doesn't work that way. My husband filed in February 2018 and my status was automatically updated to IR1 by the time my case got to NVC (December 2019) because my marriage was 2yrs by then (Got Married in December 2017). I got a 10yrs GC when I came to US.

That is incorrect.  OP should have received a 10 yr card.

Thanks you so much , I did the filling and indicated DHS error in December 2021, I got a letter to go to the uscis office in Oklahoma City to do my biometric on January 31 2022 I,did that also but till now I haven’t got any update on the case , I have been checking my uscis account but theirs is no update yet, when I filed the I-90 I sent pictures of my current GC and also included a letter explaining the error I anticipated, they letter contains the dates of each event from my marriage date to admission into the USA, any idea on why I haven’t heard back yet ?

Are you sure it was acceptable to send only photos of your green card instead of the actual card?

That’s how they requested me to submit the I-90 when I was doing the paper work

They didnt ask me to physically submit or mail in the GC, I filed the I-90 through my uscis account and after that they sent me a letter of appointment to go and do biometric at their office in Oklahoma City on January 31 2022 , since then I haven’t heard anything I attached a screenshot of the current status .
