K1- Dublin - DS-160 when should I fill it out?

Hey there, 

 

I was hoping someone might be able to help me here. I rang the NVC and have our case and invoice number, when I checked it online they said I need to fill out the DS-160 to take it to the consular level. However, the instruction seems to be to wait until I hear from the embassy in Dublin. Was hoping someone who has recently been through this in Dublin could let me know

Hello! I filed for my DS-160 right after I received the email that contains files attached (the one containing the medical examination invitation letter).

Yes. If you received that email with the 3 files go ahead and file the DS-160, you can also book your medical examination.

Thank you, just filled it out and now booking my medical and getting the rest of the documents together. Have you had your interview? Is the wait for it long?

Make sure to call the hospital instead of sending the email to book the medical, calling will be faster. A few days ago I received the email with my interview date but it will be in September, there’s a bit of waiting 😩

Thanks for the tip, it has been hard to get an answer from them! Ah so a while to go yet, that is good to know, I wasn't sure how quick the embassy was moving.
