There's lots of rationalization going around that's straight up spin and politics, like cherry picking data about representative age groups. But those very same people who are cherry picking facts and figures are the same people who were unquestioningly demanding hydroxychloriquine to cure covid. So again, I find these arguments disingenuous and partisan. If you want to manage your own health based on politics, then ok I guess. Just don't expect the rest of us to accomodate you. When I send my child to a public institution, they should have a reasonable expectation of not dying just because some of their fellow students are avid Fox News consumers.

Also, a prediction: When FDA approval does come (likely later this year), the goal posts will once again be moved. Guaranteed.

I get it, the Left only speaks the truth and any critique is simply due to partisanship.  So all those in the medical community that are questioning some of the stuff coming out of the Biden CDC are just Trumpkins, or Trumpsters (I forget which label you like to use), and all critical thinking should be suppressed.

Therefore, getting back to the thread topic, if everything is as you say it is, why are there only 10% of the schools mandating an experimental jab?

So I've mentioned this before. I'm happy to have a civil conversation with you, and I've delivered on my end. Once the ad hominem attacks come out, I'm done. Peace.

The author of the original link is extremely free-wheeling (and outright wrong) with his research, including concluding no deaths at campuses when those deaths weren't listed on their website:

This study in particular (cited in the first link) debunks the "young people can't get covid/don't get as sick/are at lower risk" argument.

Bostom is a hack. I wouldn't trust my health on his so-called research.

What are people getting out of the multiple rounds of Covid denialism?  They simply cannot be that stupid, there must be another reason this claptrap continues to get published.

1) Yes they really are that stupid.

2) Money.

3) Attention.

4) Mental Illness.

5) Some people just like to watch the world burn?

6) Fear is a powerful motivation. It really makes some do the craziest things. And people love to prey on the gullible.

When I was young, I participated in a focus group for marketing. They asked the group "what is a bigger issue with voters today, ignorance or apathy? This 70 something backwoods type responded after everyone was silent: "Son, we don't know and we don't care"

Bostom is a hack. I wouldn't trust my health on his so-called research.

So how do you justify a blanket vaccine mandate for those with no pre-existing conditions, those that have recovered from Covid19, or those that are still waiting for more data to judge the risks of being vaccinated?  Even the study you posted that you say debunks the wacky first link, admitted it is extremely narrowly focused, and that pre-existing conditions were a major factor in their numbers.

The choice to be vaccinated is a personal one to be discussed with one’s Dr especially when dealing with new experimental vaccine(s).  Do we have all the data in as to the risks of the vaccine(s)?  Are universities adopting blanket vaccine policies weighing all these risks?  If someone dies from the forced vaccine, will their family be able to sue the university if they feel necessary?

In the end, maybe this will help some people paying outrage amounts of money to rethink their school choice.
