Hello Vjer's

Just planning ahead. I filed a K1 visa petition for my fiancee in Vietnam. I live in NYC. When it comes down to the interview does anyone know if I have to go to Vietnam for the interview? Or she gets the interview in Vietnam and I get my interview in NYC?

Also I 'm trying to speed up the process in getting this K1 fiancee Visa ASAP. What should I do in preparation in trying to get this done ASAP. I sent my I-129f on 6/25 to VSC. I know VSC moves a little quicker. To VJer's who have gone thru this experience what are my changes of getting this done before the ending of this year. Is it possible to get it within 6 months from today?

Thanks all

" Good Luck and Thank you to all "

Just she has interview in VN, you dont have interview in NY. You dont have to back VN for the interview but if you can back VN to join interview with her, to support her it would be nice....

With some case it takes 6 month (it's fast) and 8 months, some takes a bit longer. But i see almost takes 6-8 months.

I wish you all the Best.

No they will not interview you at all........ They will interview both of you once she gets here. ;) Don't worry too much man, Try to look for a job first heh... On the I-134 form, you can use your liquid assets and other money to fullfill the requirement, but will a tough Consulate Officer they will give you a hard time for it. So get a job first..
