Hi all, 

I visited Qatar (within a period of 3 years i used to go to Qatar on a visit visas many times each visit 6-7 months as my husband was resident there) for a total which exceeded 1 year. I wasnt a resident there so will i still be required to get one. The state.gov says that its only available for former/present residents. + what can i tell the kcc when they ask me for it. Send them a screenshot from the state.gov website that state that its only available for former/present residents. 

Any suggestions  will be helpfull

So you said you resided there in the DS260 but now you are saying you didn’t actually reside there just visited  .. not sure how KCC will take that

A visit to a country is not living in that country.....you were on a visit visa, correct?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
