Can someone help me to understand please. The lawyer submitted The affidavit of support and tax Papers via Mail. Isn’t he should have uploaded it on the CEAC? Because I remember in my welcome letter it said that you shouldn’t mail any documents to NVC. But he keep telling me that I’m in good hands. Is this a normal process??

Yes I will be interview in Jamaica

As far as I know, the US embassy in Jamaica expects those documents to be submitted to NVC via CEAC upload, not mail.  Are you able to login to your CEAC account?  Do you have your NVC case number and IV number?

Yes I do have my log in info. When I log in it’s still showing that Affidavit of support is missing

Maybe it's time to consider looking for another lawyer who will actually do what's necessary to get your case moving as quickly as possible?

I have a better understanding now he send the Affidavit of support to USCIS.

Why did he send it to USCIS? If your case is now at NVC, you need to upload it to CEAC per NVC instructions.

“The processing time of the Affidavit of Support takes at least 6 weeks. After the NVC receives the documents from USCIS, they process them. The NVC will look at the sponsor’s Affidavit of Support and supporting documents. The applicant must have paid the fees for the Affidavit of Support to receive processing. The NVC will not process the case if a document is missing or if the fees were not paid.” That’s what’s on their site

It's really time to ditch that lawyer.  USCIS sends only the petition files to NVC.  After your petition was approved and forwarded, USCIS will not send any additional documents to NVC.  The Affidavit of Support documents must be uploaded to CEAC.  Refer to -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/i-864-affidavit-faqs.html#aos2

"We recommend completing Affidavit of Support forms on a computer or typewriter, with answers typed in CAPITAL letters. After the form is completed, upload, and submit the signed form to NVC via CEAC along with the sponsor’s supporting financial evidence. Remember you must submit all pages of the Form I-864 even if they are blank."
