Just because it went a day (or more) with an absurd value doesn't mean it's correct.

A lot of field offices had completely fictional AOS processing time ranges on the web site for most of last year (you could tell because they were both all the same and a range completely out of line with what was normal for that office).

Yea, it just got updated so it’s all good now. I hope they stop freaking out people like that.

Ours was EAC, so Vermont service center. We live in CT.

Do these applications get routed based on the applicant’s city’s closest approximate location to the service center or is it all randomly routed? I live in CLT and I have Potomac.

My (fully anecdotally) guess based on the google spreadsheet is that it is location of filer based. It appears that folks in the NE go to Vermont, mid-atlantic and  eastern south go to Potomac, Midwest goes to Nebraska, deep south to Texas, and west goes to Cali. That's based on the couple of dozen self reported data points on that file. There seem to be a few exceptions to that general rule, but to me it appears to be based on your filing location/local office.

My understanding is pretty much, though if you didn't have an AOS interview (either waived or because you got your initial green card through a visa that didn't require AOS) you always get MSC/NBC.

Anyway we got a WAC # from San Diego.

We are in the West and got Nebraska, exception to the rule, yay 😅 🙈

Usually I'm the exception to the rule! LOL. NOA1 just arrived today, so praying Vermont keeps speeding through these RoC's!
