Are you moving far from where you live now?

Yes we are moving out of state, hence a change of field office, which is why I really hoped we would not have to do another interview (and since we had an AOS interview, I also didn't really expect one, based on what we see on VJ). But I guess someone has to be the unlucky one that has to do two once a while.

Some couples are chosen randomly.

Hopefully, they'll realize you were already interviewed and simply approve your case.

I know, I don't think it has anything to do with our case specifically, just mere chance. Really hope so too!

* WAC June 2021 Filer Vent *

Seen WAC “apparently” has processing times of 7-11 months- what absolute non sense!!! I’ll still be waiting min of another year minimumz; wouldn’t trust their processing times if they paid me to 🤬

We are also WAC filers (Sept 2021).  Receipt date for case inquiry is March 15, 2021.  I have also seen many March/April approvals in VJ timelines for WAC.  So for you it should only be 3-4 more months or so (although as you said it is hard to trust USCIS processing time).  Hang in there....

Yeah, thanks for your positivity. I will believe when I see it and who knows what inquiry date will be next month. Regardless I will apply for N-400 in June. Can’t be bothered with USCIS like many, it’s so exhausting. Thanks bud!

Anyone Texas filers had any updates? I received my extension letters fairly quickly, but nothing since, or any updates on the site.

I am still within processing times, just wondering.

(I do know Texas is the quickest and I sympathize with those in slower offices)

My case was just updated to show fingerprints taken

Hey, when did you go for biometrics appointment? Mine was Jan 21 and updated in the app shortly afterwards. In fact, my case wasn’t showing in Case tracker app until after biometrics.

Never did, they used the ones from my AOS

During my appointment, I candidly asked the officer why they didn’t reuse my fingerprints (surely nothing must have changed since AOS, unless they think we are living some crazy Mission Impossible lifestyle :D ) She responded she thought it was done at random; however, given I’d moved states since AOS that could have contributed.

I moved states too since AOS and no biometric was required for ROC. So I’d say it is indeed random.
