Hi Everyone,

I would like to start my naturalization process. However, I moved from Dallas to Austin a month and a half ago, and now I'm wondering if I need to wait until I have been in Austin for 3 months to apply.

I was thinking it didn't matter because I didn't move out of state.

I know there is a USCIS office in Dallas and the one close to Austin is in San Antonio, TX

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

I would say you my need to wait 45 days to complete the three months. Time flies.

better than applying now and wait for interview then IO give you hard time.

please wait for a second opinion

  • Have lived for at least three months in a state or USCIS district having jurisdiction over your place of residence;

so,  same juristdiction?

According to this, same state is ok.
