Can someone please help here?

We got this update from NVC and don't know if we are Documentarily Qualified yet or not and also, my husband's income is well above the poverty line but still, they wrote the below message -

 

Case FE Review note -- This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos

NVC says the income does not meet the standards 

could be it is self employment or a business and not personal income?

or it is from income they do not accept like SSDI

 

one site says the following:

 

 if you look at the affidavit of support, the forms and the instructions, they're really looking for employee-based income. That's why they ask for tax returns. I can also tell you from experience because we've processed thousands of these, that everything comes down to the discretion of the adjudicating officer or consular officer reviewing your case. It is up to them as to whether they accept the income or not and/or whether they accept the proof and evidence of your income. Submit all the sources of income that you have and provide all the supporting documents for that income.

When you get Documentarily Qualified, you will get an email and a CEAC message that say so explicitly.
