Good morning! The “ready to be scheduled for interview” status varies greatly from FO to FO depending on how busy they are. Mine took… (ARE YOU SITTING????!) TWO HOURS. Yes, you read that right. Maybe it was a glitch in the system, but my case was overall very quick (granted, it was right before covid hit). So what I would do now in your situation is to take time to gather and organize the evidence that you’re going to take to the interview. Ha, my wife is in the same situation as yourself! She also wants to travel abroad so she wants the travel permit before December too. Hopefully!

my daughter AOS was delivered to USCIS on July 26. On Aug 1, she got notice of biometric appointment. We arent in Houston but in S Florida
