We are moving to the US in 2 weeks and are planning to drive into the US as we have our car to bring and our dog.

Are Canadians moving to the US with valid visas allowed to drive in at a land border with current restrictions?

From what I've read I THINK it's ok as we are lawful permanent residents now and have proper travel documentation (our visas etc). But I wanted to ask here just incase cause I find it confusing. It doesn't flat out say people moving there from what I can see.

It will be the Ontario/Michigan border crossing.

Totally fine for you to drive across to the US if you are married to a US Citizen, or permanent resident,  no need for covid test or isolation bs, just don't forget anything in Ontario because they will ask for a covid test for as much as a Uturn  in the States lol!

I live 10 min from the border so I go across often to breathe freedom and buy essentials.  I just show up with my tourist visa and my American marriage certificate, sometimes with my husband but even with your husband you have to have the Marriage certificate or you can prove you are related.

Thank you. We are a family visa so once it's activated when we cross we are permanent residents. My husband's father is our sponsor. I just wasn't sure if we could drive over when immigrating. Or if they won't let you by land cause of the current land border restrictions. And if yes if we need covid tests.
