Where did you get that information? That's not right according to USCIS Fee Schedule Effective: July 30, 2007.

I 751 -Remove conditions on your Permanent Resident status:

$ 545 (filing + biometric) for you + $80 biometric fee for each dependent you include in your application

Ok I do not know where you got the $2900 from.

We are just finishing our first year, and for grins and giggles, I went to the USCIS website yesterday. When I saw they are raising the fees by almost double the amount at the end of this month, I was NOT a happy camper!!! Why couldn't they wait till Jul 30, 2008?!!!! :crying:

Going from $205 + $70 ($275) to $545 is absurd!!! And they wonder why there are so many illegal immigrants in this country!!! :ranting:

Wow... that really sux!!! :( So sorry to hear that... it definitely makes it worse when you miss by a small window rather than a large one.

You say its only money... but its money that I'd rather not spend! Makes you wonder where all that money goes? :unsure:

This is outrageous! I'll be filing in December and I'm NOT happy about the double fees! And what the hell I need another biometrics for?! My fingerprints haven't changed!
