So last week, I had issue with my SIM. It was stolen. I immediately called cricket wireless to get it suspended. What they ended up doing is completely shut down my account.. (yeah, that's what prepaid service do to cut corners)

Anyways they asked me to buy new SIM and get it activated. But none of support guys were able to revive my account, and eventually asked me to start a new number.

I had my biometrics appointment completed yesterday.  (I don't know why I forgot to ask them to update my number) When I called the USCIS number, they said they can't update it but they will get Technical department to call me. And I did not receive any call back.

Now how do I login to my account? It always ask me to enter code sent on phone or run a backup code?

I’m sure technical support should fix it, but also think of info pass appointment.

out of curiosity why Cricket couldn’t assign  your phone number to a new SIM?

As soon as I figured out my sim was removed from my phone, I immediately call them to block that SIM. They said they are blocking it and I need to get to a store and get a new SIM. When I tried to activate that SIM, my PIN code stopped working and customer service couldn't enter using that PIN. In MyCricket App. when I tried to login, it showed account to be completely canceled.

I went to store. They tried the same a few times, and then suggested I need to start a new account all over from scratch. Nothing they can do. They tried to call the customer service from  their end too.

Later I asked customer service to find my call log from last 2 days. And they said, as a prepaid service, they don't record any call logs. (I guess that's the price you pay for cheap prepaid service.. you won't have way to track criminal activity)
