Aliens can get a  REAL ID, citizens are the only ones who can get an Enhanced ID, at least in my state

Yup, only citizens here in Washington.  There is no distinction between REAL ID/Enhanced here.  Undocumented and documented aliens can get standard driver's licenses/ID.

In CA my AOS is still pending and I got ID easily. I just gave them all my NOA papers. They took what they needed. Just bring them everything USCIS sent you after you applied for AOS. Make sure you have all the copies in case they wanna keep something so you can give them copy since you will need originals.

I don't want to disappoint you but CA is very immigrant friendly state. If i remember correctly the NOA1 says that it does not grant any immigration benefit so the only option in some states to get a an id is to wait for the EAD.

OP is in Nevada, though. She may be able to get a standard ID. She does not need a Real ID (Citizens + legal immigrants and legal non-immigrants) and or Enhanced Driver's License (Citizens only).

They don't accept the NOA1. For standard ID in Nevada need valid I-94 or valid EAD or valid GC etc. https://dmvnv.com/dlresidency.htm

Standard Nevada License or ID

Standard Nevada Driver License

A standard Nevada license does not meet Real ID requirements. It will be marked "NOT FOR FEDERAL OFFICIAL USE."

As of May 3, 2023, these cards will not be accepted as identification for boarding aircraft, entering federal facilities where ID is required or entering nuclear power plants.

Licenses and ID cards will be marked “LIMITED TERM" when immigration documents are used to prove identity.

You must present all of the following:

  • Proof of Identity (one document) AND
  • If you have changed your name, Proof of All Name Change(s) AND
  • Proof of Social Security number AND
  • Proof of your Nevada residential address (two documents) AND
  • an Application for Driving Privileges or ID Card (DMV 002):
    English  |  Spanish  |  Tagalog

Documents must be valid originals or certified copies that were issued in the United States (except foreign passports). The DMV does not accept photocopies. Documents presented will be scanned.

Proof of Identity

All Applicants

A license or ID that does not meet Real ID requirements is not accepted. A Real ID card marked “Limited Term” is not accepted; immigration documents must be shown.
  • Valid, unexpired United States Passport or United States Passport Card
  • Valid Enhanced Driver's License from a U.S. state
  • Nevada Department of Corrections Identification Card
See the Released Prisoner or Inmate Driver’s License and Identification Card Information (DMV 013)

  • Unexpired Employment Authorization Card (I-766)

California gives ID to anyone that wants them due to the laws they have passed. You don't even have to be in the US legally to get a California ID card.

For Nevada the OP could get a temporary State ID( It says Limited Term on the front of it) based on the expiration of the I94. My wifes first ID was only good for about 63 days. Then you have to wait for the EAD/AP card to get a ID that will be good until the EAD/AP card is valid for( About a year). Then once you get your green card, you can get a full term State ID. My current wifes ID is valid for 8 years now. Nevada will not accept your AOS paperwork I-797 to issue the state ID( Trust me, I know this from multiple visits to every office in Las Vegas.) They only will accept the EAD/AP extension letter for the I-797 form it says they accept.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. OP's I-94 for B-2 visit already expired:

So OP now has to wait for either EAD or GC to be issued.

Then, in that case OP would be able to get a driver authorization card. It is not for identification purposes but allows you to drive. It should list the residential address which will serve eventually as evidence of bona fide marriage. There you go, @NikkiR123  :)
