Police came to house door (false alarm)

Just want to be sure I don't have to report this. I already submitted my N-400 application to USCIS, but my wife accidentally called 911 and a police officer came and looked through our house to be sure everything was okay. He didn't say anything about being detained, but it's a contact and I wanted to know if I need to report it to USCIS. She dialed 911 by mistake (had the phone in her hand when she fell asleep), and she gets anxiety, so when they sent a police officer to our house to make sure everything was okay, she made me answer the door. When he came in, I stepped aside and showed her to him and just let her explain everything.

If you had tried to run away from the house after you saw the cop, you would have confirmed yourself with the techical definition of detainment.

 

Consider what the cop did was a simple ask n search type.  Kudos for the 911 response anyway.

Yeah, for sure! My wife actually told me that all of her medical information came up on her phone screen and it was sent directly to 911. I was surprised. In one sense, it's weird because we had no clue that her phone had all that info, but it kind of puts my heart at ease knowing that if she simply dialed 911, someone would come to help her, even if she couldn't talk due to whatever (overdose, stroke, danger, etc.).

She got an iphone i believe.

@Timona I believe you can store emergency contact info/allergies/Medications on a default iPhone app. Did not know that info could or would automatically get forwarded to 911.

 

And yes, you can text 911. It's helpful; specially if you can't talk or do not want to be heard.

Or i'd say this is why iPhones  are good. Of course one can change the settings to limit the sharing.

It's more intended for people who could pass out while calling 911 or just passout. The response team could see the health profile from locked screen or from shared profile thru 911 so they can provide the required medical attention based on medical history.

Nice feature.

We pay lots for our mom to have a special emergency phone from an emergency health watch monitoring company.

Prefer Android; have iPhone and Android.

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

I don't know if it's a text, but they got her info, according to the wife. Or maybe I misunderstood and the info just came up on her phone. I don't know.
