hi,

PD: July 6th 2021

From Austin TX

I still haven't received any updates for biometrics. Does anyone have experience from Austin?

Also I tried calling USCIS but it doesn't let me go through to a live agent. What options should I choose to get to a live agent?

Thank you

Try to send a message from USCIS website

theres an option to send them an email and normally you get a reply within 48Hours. Alternatively, you can also check your status online under the I-485 “documents” section - If you’ve been scheduled for the biometrics interview or not. I found my biometrics interview like that and the actual physical mail was only delivered after 10 days.
Hope this will help.

Same for us. Check the online account -- USPS is still experiencing issues.

Hi,

I am in the same boat as you. PD july 16th and ok biometrics appt. I am in dallas. It seems Texas is a bit on the slow side when it comes to scheduling appointments

If you want to chat with a live agent,  after opening emma and choosing how the how to chat with emma option, just enter live agent. That works a treat and I always get through.

Good luck !

Had a double celebration this week: my wife got her bio appointment scheduled and our K-2 daughter finally got her adjustment application accepted and receipt numbers issued. 🎉 Seems like our daughter will be on an offset schedule from my wife since her part of the application was accepted later, but I would think the two of them would share their priority date.

Hi Guys!
An update - I went online on USCIS Account and under I-485 Application - “Documents” section found my biometrics appointment letter. It was dated on Aug-21

It is a 2 page document with the fist page about the detail and venue of my biometrics, the second page had an Applicants Information Worksheet(AIW)

question- Are you we supposed to fill this section before the biometrics interview or is this something they will fill from the field office ?
maybe anyone in the group who has already finished their biometrics can help me on this?
also, who are waiting for biometrics appointment letter can check their account online , and you may find your electronic letter already sent to you. ( physical email might take another couple days)

TIA ☺️

Yes you have to fill that small section out and take it with you to the appt along with the other letter also

Am i the only july filer yet to get biometrics appointment 😭

I'm in a Whatsapp group for summer filers. Looking at the July folks, there are 25 of us and 15 have had theirs scheduled. Although, it's not a perfect record. It's possible some of the remaining ten left the group or did not update when they got theirs scheduled.

But I think it's safe to say you're far from the only one. Another lady in the group from Queens, NYC hasn't had hers scheduled yet and she filed in March I believe.
