USCIS Case Status online

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue:

We filed the EAD (I-765) and received the NOA (June 22) with the Application Receipt Number. When I go to the USCIS site to add it, it says...

"Customer Portfolio Insert Failed

Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the app receipt number."

I have quaruple-checked the number. In the past, when I got the I-129F and I-485 NOA's I was able to add the case immediately and start tracking it.

I've sent an email to the webmaster, but is there something else I should do? I just want to make sure that they have my case, and that I can track it before the new fee schedule takes effect July 30th. In the meantime, I'll be a bit nervous about it.

All I can say is that I wasn't able to read the case numbers correctly off our cashed checks from my bank on-line.

I had to wait for the NOAs.

You could call USCIS....

Sometimes it takes a little while for all the case numbers to actually work, and it hasn't been too long yet - keep trying I guess!

I'm having the same problem exactly....... just thought I'd have to wait for a bit and hopefully it will work.......... I'm not really surprised as nothing ever seems to go smoothly with this immigration process why would they want to make things easy for us?

I have the same problem, and there's others in this site with this same situation. Seems they're not too fast (oh, surprise!) entering the numbers in the system for people to check.

Update: My case became available to check this morning. Whew! I just didn't want to have to pay the new fee for the AOS/EAD/AP package.

We are also having this issue from our AoS case numbers, but not from our EAD case numbers - I dunno what the deal is though Our biometrics are scheduled and still the numbers don't work for the online case tracking.
