how long it will take to adjust my status?

what AOS mean?

And how's that mean?

In my 1-94 it tells that i should leave the US on 19th of April but it says in fiance('e) visa which is expires on July 2006. So what it means?

If you entered on a fiance visa - you are required to marry the original petitioner within 90 days of entry to the US and then you have to file an I-485 with the USCIS (and pay the fee) to adjust your status to become a "Legal Permanent Resident" so that you can stay.

Our journey started in 2001 and it's still not over. It's been a rollercoaster ride all the way! Let me off - I wanna be sick!

You probably need a lawyer

1. Depends on where you live.

2. Adjustment of Status.

3. How's that mean? Please restate in English.

4. Probably the 19th April is 90 days from when you entered, you have to marry by then. July 2006 was the date you had to enter by, no longer relevant.

Please read http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...om&page=k1k3aos

You must get married before April 19th if you have not done so already. Once you are married you can start the Adjustment of Status process (AOS). This process will allow you to get your conditional permanent residence (2 year green card).

Note: you probably will NOT need a lawyer.

in interview for adjusting status, what usually they ask or i mean questions

It varies widely from case to case. In general, the duty of the interviewer is to verify that your marriage is genuine and was not entered into solely to obtain a green card.

You will have to show proof that you reside together, and have joint finances.
