Hi everyone,

My spouse had an interview at the US Embassy last week and a few days ago received the passport back with the visa stamp. In the same package from the embassy, we also received a letter with this paragraph:
"After you have paid your USCIS Immigrant Fee, USCIS will prepare to mail your Green Card to the U.S. mailing address you gave the Department Of States at your visa interview. To ensure that USCIS sends your Green Card to your correct address, create a USCIS Online Account to verify your update your U.S mailing Address."

We had created a USCIS account at the beginning of our application. I logged on now to check but did not see any place where it has US address information. Is this a different USCIS account we have to create? How can we verify the address?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Has your address changed from what was entered in your spouse's DS-260 form?  If so, your spouse should notify the inspecting CBP officer at POE about the new US address.  Also, file AR-11 to notify USCIS about the address change.

If your spouse's intended US address is the same as what's on the DS-260, no need to file AR-11.

Hi! Thank you for the reply. Yes the intended US address is the same as what's on DS-260. I am just wondering if there is anyway to confirm the address (in case there is a typo somewhere).

Thank you!  Did the officer ask for any proof of the address? Bills or letters addressed to you etc.

Nope just a verbal confirmation. "Hey so you still intend to live at .....?"
