Travel from China to USA on visitor visa

Hi,

as of today 7/1/21. can China citizen travel to USA? my wife mom wanted to visit us, and also hope to get covid vaccinated here in USA. but want to confirm if able to travel now. if yes, what is the requirement to enter usa as for covid requirement? does mom has to be vaccinated in China or just a negative test will get her in. Thank you all.

She cannot enter the US unless she first spends two weeks in a country that is not on the Covid ban list. She will need a negative test from within 3 days prior to entry regardless where she comes from.

Thank you for the reply, so as I understanding that if mom stay in another country that's not Covid ban list for more then 14 days. then she can travel from that country to USA. So I am thinking that she can go to Hong Kong or Singapore for 14 days. since these two places speaks Chinese.

Not for people from mainland China and a handful of other places apparently. But the principle you raise is correct, OP should be sure to check what the Covid restrictions are wherever the mom will spend the two weeks.
