Hello everyone,

I’ve got a quick question to ask and I’ll be grateful if I can get some answers from you guys.

I’m 31 years old from Nigeria and also a permanent resident of a European country. I would like to know if it would be possible for a 31 years old to get a US student visa for an undergraduate students.

I have ties both Europe and in Nigeria, I’ve got 2 apartment in Europe and also a house in Nigeria, do you guys think that I’ll have a chance with the VO issuing the visa to me considering my age for an undergraduate programme ?

I’m a genuine student and I’ve gotten admission in one of the US college (California state university) thanks guys and I’ll be hoping to get a replies soon. ☺️

It is possible. Expect a bit of scrutiny and questioning at the interview.

It’s possible, sure, if you can show funding and ties elsewhere. They might ask questions about why you would pay so much for a CSU when you probably have free or near free options in Europe.

follow the steps

1st if the college you want to attend says TOEFL test needed ,  take that exam to show u are proficient in English

(some 2 year programs do not require the test)

2nd apply for the college or university that is SEVP approved

3rd   if accepted , pay the fees to hold your place in class and dorm

4th   get the I 20 form from college

5th   now,   apply for the visa   but ask the college if it has a lawyer to help with documents

footnote :  make sure u can afford the college /  it ain't cheap
