I have applied for my I-130 and wanted to upload some photos as evidence of our relationship. Me and my spouse live together in Istanbul so I want to upload our photos as evidence. Is there a specific format they like? Do we have to tell the time these photos were taken and where?

we all do different ways

i put 3 from computer onto a 8x11 sheet and labeled date of visit under photo / i just wrote date and word Morocco

I  made sure i labeled some with his family so it was shown we had family approval

i made 5 trips so a couple of each/  no need to overload too many

I think the most common approach is two-three per page with the date and a description - "Jack and Jill, England 2010".

Try and get a good variation of photos if possible (not everything from that one birthday party 3 years ago). Holiday photos in front of visible landmarks are great, as are photos with friends and family as it shows that other people are aware of your relationship.

According to your post history, you already filed the I-130 last year.  Are you planning to upload the photos as unsolicited evidence?  Note that USCIS does not guarantee that they will even consider unsolicited documents uploaded into the system.  Nothing stopping you from doing it anyway.  Just don't expect that they will be looked at.

totally agree and to OP:

you can also take to interview but again,  don't expect anyone to ask to see them or want to/  the CO reviews the packet of proof before the interview starts and basis the questions on what is included with your documents

How do i know this?

my mother in law applied 3 years ago (husband LPR then) for a tourist visa and was denied / the letter of denial was dated the day before her interview

And you are the beneficary ?   at this stage all the proofs for NVC should be thru the USC
