US passport power improves

Happy news guys, just noticed that the US passport has "quietly" become powerful again - now ranks 5th in "Global Passport Power Rank" 😁. Last time I checked it was 15th or something.

Well there are 21 passports in ranks 1 to 4 so it all depends how you count it…

Today it gains to become #4 on this list 🥰. For now, we are among the 5 non-European countries that rank 1-4. Ahead of us are New Zealand (#1), Japan (#2), Australia (#2), South Korea (#3). All others are European countries which have a natural advantage for having less border restrictions between each other. Comparing to where we were on the list last year (25th+ or something?) we're in a really good position right now, and I believe that's why everybody is trying to get their passport and thus all the delays.

Tbh I don’t really care exactly where the US is in this ranking because my US passport is JUST SO MUCH BETTER than my home county passport where I needed visas to go just about everywhere I wanted to go. And many countries do not give multi year visas. I cannot tell you how much time I wasted over the years in consulates and embassies and bio places etc getting visas. I can only think of one place I’ve been to and might want to visit again (Russia) that also requires visas from the US. I am perfectly happy with my little blue passport 😎
