Appears to me that OP is the beneficiary not the USC. So nobody will sniff anything when the USC plans on staying in Tunisia and be there for the beneficiaries interview 😉 that's actually a pretty good idea

it would be if the trip corresponded close to the interview time

90 day stay is normal for stay time in Tunisia

and hard to make the needed income requirements if a person is not working for an extended time frame plus keeping the residency requirements here in the US

Me (27M) the beneficiary  and my fiancé (22F) the petitioner  need help on how to describe the circumstances of our in person meeting ; so we met on  reddit in a friendship subreddit April 2020 and we talked daily ever since , we fell in love the next month and were together since , then she came to visit me for 2 weeks in which we got engaged  and she went back to the us last Saturday. so we are filing the i-129f and having doubts on how to describe the circumstances of our  IN PERSON meeting.  should we mention reddit and how we first met  or just describe when she came to visit me , and if we mentioning reddit , how to prove that its not a marriage broker cuz reddit doesn't say its not one . any kind of help would be much appreciated .

If it was me, I'd briefly describe how you met online, it's extremely normal in today's society to have met online, then describe the circumstances of the in person meeting. If at all possible back yourself up with evidence that you did so, screen shots of conversations on Reddit, copies of her plane tickets, restaurant receipts, PHOTOS of you two together during the visit. Doing it this way helps the immigration official see how you got to the in person visit. You don't have to describe every single detail either, just hit the high points.

Hope this helps...

" We first met online.  We later met in person as evidenced by my passport stamps and boarding passes".

There is no need to go into exaggerated detail when submitting the I-129f.

I’ll tell you my experience. I met my wife in May 2018. I visited the first week of July 2018. I had proposed to her during my stay there. I booked another Trip to see her  in October 2018. I filed for a K-1 Visa in July when I returned from my first trip. When I sent in all my evidence, I also sent in my proof that I had plane tickets to visit her again in October.

The simple answer is yes, one visit (from my experience) was enough to get the ball rolling. By the time my wife (fiancé then) had her interview we had two visits under our belt for evidence. Keep records of everything. Where you eat together, hotel stay receipts. Take plenty of pictures. A lot of work, but we’ll worth the wait for someone you love. Be sure to tell them how you met. Tell the truth. You don’t want to be caught in a lie. We just had our second Wedding Anniversary! God bless and wish you the best.

I met my husband online in tagged. I went to the terms of service for the site added it to the evidence as proof the site was not a marriage broker "per attached terms of service" I met my husband two times before submitting our I29f but we have a 13 year age gap that I felt needed the extra time. I even went for his interview but in the end I found all that extra unnecessary. My now husband came in with photos and pages of chat logs. They never asked to see any of it. They asked him about me and my family. It's important you know her very well, that you don't have a criminal record, and above all things no visa shady business in the past. I see people on the thread call Tunis a hard embassy but from our experience and others we went through the process with around the same time ( some having only one 2 week visit) its more about how clean your record is and knowing about your future spouse.

Me (27M) and my fiancé (22F)  met on reddit April 2020 and were  on a long distance relationship talking / video calling daily  . due to covid delays, she was  able to visit last month for 2 weeks which we spent entirely together and in which we got engaged in the presence of her mother and my family . my question is , is it risky to file the i-129f after only meeting once even if we can prove that we talked daily for more than a year online and that it is a serious relationship since both our families are involved... we are not meeting again until between October/Christmas again cuz covid hit hard financially ... any help would be much appreciated

i met my wife only once for the same period as you. however we had probably 8 inches of emails and a lot of phone calls. i assume you have a bunch of photos taken when there. i dont know if one has records o zoom calls etc but the evidence you have the better

Meeting once in person within 2 years of filing the visa is perfectly. I (was 26F) met my now-husband (was 22M) in Formspring (like a Q&A platform). He visited me 3 months later in September, were together for only 2 weeks. We filed for the K1 visa in January the next year, petition was approved in June. I didn't want to leave just yet so I did my interview in August, got approved in August and was in the US in October. So we were reunited literally 1 year after he left the Philippines (Oct 2) and I arrived Oct 2 the year after.

I only met my fiancé twice before we applied and it was accepted.  Also, I did not attend the visa interview.   I did provide a letter as to why I could not attend, but that was it (it was because my job had me busy).

What we did do was provide 20 pages of video call logs and chat text representing days and days of communications.    Find a communication method that provides tracking logs and include those logs in your proof of relationship file.

I did the spousal visa and it was approved. It’s now at the nvc. It was approved and I only meet my husband once due to corona . I as well will go back the end the year . I am not sure what question they ask for the visa your seeking  The online app never ask me if I meet him in two years . I had a letter wrote from a family stating that they picked me up on what date . My application was approved.

K-1 has different requirements.

If your petition is at NVC, the visa has not been approved.
