Hello! Just got packet 3 today. We are with the Auckland consulate. I can't tell if it requires us to do the medical before we can schedule our interview, or if we can schedule our interview before the medical and just get it done before? This is all is says in regards to it

"

MEDICAL EXAMINATION: Arrange your own appointment with our Consular Panel physicians, instructions/forms attached. The physician will send the completed report directly to this office.    NOTE: Visa will be limited to the expiry date of the MEDICAL - so do not have the examination too early if you plan to travel in more than 5 months’ time.

Ideally, you would have had the medical, and it would be at the consulate by the date of the interview.   My husband ended up having his medical the same week as the interview, and it hadn’t arrived by then. It added only about a week to processing for the visa though, so it wasn’t a problem.

Applicants who are lucky enough to go through Auckland tend to have an easier time, as it is a very well run and efficient consulate.   Best of luck!

You have to have your medicals before your interview like a week or 5 days to your emails soo you have to call or email the medical people so that they can give you a medical appointment date before your interview
