Hello all,

My wife came here on K1, we got married and we started the AOS process. We recently did her biometric on June 4th, 2021. However, due to our inexperience, we did not realize we could have done her driver license back when she had her 90 days windows and i believe for her to study driver license, we need to wait on her EAD. Due to my work, we will be traveling out of state and be there for a while, is it possible for her to study her driver license in another state? We will be travel back and forth between my home town and my work town.

I don't know of any state that doesn't require you to be a resident to get a driver's license.

she can study online for the state you will establish your residency permanently

and when you are finally living there, take the written test for learner's permit to learn to handle the car with a licensed driver

when ready, make the appointment  to take the driving test
