Can you login into your account and check if it shows your biometric appointment. Take that print..take all the print it says you have an appointment at this time. If you get letter before the date its well and good.. I feel you should go..

Thanks for the feedback, they never updated the case status and the reason I know I have an appointment is only because I called them !

1) USCIS is notorious for making mistakes like that. 2) You cannot go to your biometrics appointment without the letter. They will not even let you in (I saw someone being turned away when I went for mine). 3) Online case status will never show that biometrics is scheduled. They will update after fingerprints are taken, but otherwise, the only way to know is to receive the letter, which of course, they screwed up. 4) Contact the USCIS Ombudsman office and your congressman for help.

I should probably add that if you know which centre your biometrics is scheduled at, you could call and see if they have records of your scheduled time and date and if they will let you in if you can prove your identity. Chances are low though.

You can try calling USCIS and escalating your call to a tier 2 agent. They or their supervisor may be able to fax it to you. You will need access to a fax number even if it is an online fax number. Online fax numbers are tied to an email address and the faxes go straight to your email.

Hope you can sort this out.

A side note advice. Also change your address with USPS so that going forward they forward all mails from your current address to your new address for free for one year.

I know this is probably in hindsight but when I moved in the middle of my ROC process, knowing USCIS is notoriously known for messing up, I made sure to do an "address forward" request with USPS where all mail with my or my husbands name on it, would be forwarded to my new address instead of delivered at my old address. It has worked amazing, even up until today it still works. Hopefully you can still do that. My advice would be to do that with USPS first, then file an E-Request under "Did not receive notice by mail" and go from there. I'm sorry you had to experience this, it's the worst!

I believe you may need to pay for them to forward official mail. You could also just ask the old post office to forward everything or to hold it for you. USPS and USCIS can be unpredictable.

Thank you guys for the input I really appreciate, however I received a call back from USCIS yesterday where the agent emailed me a copy of the biometrics letter oh thank God I’m really relieved. As I live really close to the uscis biometrics center I went over there and was the only one literally but one of the agent saw that my appointment is a week from today she sent me home !!!! Really!!!! It’s not like they’re busy like I said I was the only applicant there but she spoke to me with a really weird and judgmental tone and said no no no you come back next week. I don’t understand.

Again, thank you guys for trying to help me.
