Tourist visas for medical treatment (split)

Dear friends My mother and younger sister are alone in my home country I am planning to apply the visit visa for them on medical ground can somebody help me that what kind of letter the dr has to write from USA that they are willing to treat  them so that once the visa interview is schedule they can show this letter to the visa officer and will get there visa.

If your relatives are applying for a tourist visa for a medical emergency, they also need documents from a doctor in their home country stating that treatment for their illness is not available locally.  They also need proof of funds to show the consul officer that they can afford healthcare costs in the US.  If treatment is actually possible in their home country, getting a tourist visa for medical treatment in the US will be unlikely.

This is what the Dept of State site says about medical visas 

 

If you are seeking medical treatment in the United States, the consular officer may ask for further documents at your visa interview, which may include:

• Medical diagnosis from a local physician, explaining the nature of the ailment and the reason you need treatment in the United States.
• Letter from a physician or medical facility in the United States, stating they are willing to treat your specific ailment and detailing the projected length and cost of treatment (including doctors’ fees, hospitalization fees, and all medical-related expenses).
• Proof that your transportation, medical, and living expenses in the United States will be paid. This may be in the form of bank or other statements of income/savings or certified copies of income tax returns (either yours or the person or organization paying for your treatment).
