NVC expedite taking too long

Hi,
Has anybody sent an expedite email to NVC lately? If so how long did it take to hear back if approved/denied from the consulate?

I requested mine almost 3 weeks ago and I haven’t received any news yet.

Hi, 

Came across your post while searching for an answer to my own question. 
 

Wanted to say that we are processing through the London Embassy, UK. 

We submitted our expedite request May 1st. Didn’t hear back until June 4th. Our expedite was approved although we are STILL waiting for the NVC to send our case to London.

 

Everything is just unbelievably slow. We have also contacted them via email and phone numerous times and were given very little information or advice.

Oh wow 😯 The wait times are ridiculous and unjustified. 

I hope they forward your case to the embassy really soon. 
Have you contacted the embassy in London regarding this issue? They have the right to request specific files from the NVC. 
Also it might be helpful to submit a photo/evidence of the approved expedite request when you fill out the NVC public inquiry form.

we have sent our expedited request on the medical grounds on 8th june.

haven’t heard anything from them yet.

I wouldn't call "almost 3 weeks" ridiculous in terms of any part of the visa application process by any means.

What I meant by ridiculous and unjustified is having to wait several weeks for NVC to transfer the case to a consulate after the expedite request has been approved. 
The process is considered to be an emergency. 

Also if you check my profile you would see I have been waiting over 9 months for an interview to be scheduled. Don’t you think that is a long time?

Hello.

 

I sent mine on June 1st and still nothing. We’ve been waiting for an interview for 12 months so yes waiting times are just ridiculous.

May 5th I sent them my email.

June 2nd they write me back that they are reviewing

June 4th approved.

 

Since they told me not to email again until 3 weeks passed,

I email again May 26th

Respond me July 14th saying I'm approved.

 

Note I was approved June 4th from first email, but it took that that long to respond to 2nd email.

 

Patience is the key, although i'm also loosing it. Still waiting on NVC to DQ me.
