Hey guys, me and my fiance wants to start applying for k1 visa but because of pandemic we can't meet yet, my question is, Is there something we can do or other papers that we can start to work to make use of the time while waiting for us to meet?

Thanks for your response in advance 😊

Meeting is primary requirement.  You cannot file until afterwards.

Which Consulate would be involved?

Nope.  Except - if either of you have a prior divorce, you should make sure you have a certified copy of the divorce decree.  The USC petitioner can also evaluate his/her job and income, to ensure it will qualify when it comes time to do the sponsorship paperwork.  If it does not, consider getting a better/second job.

The process is a long haul, and it is expensive.  You're looking at a couple of years, at least.
