Expediting IR-1

Beneficiary living in pakistan and the reason to expedite is having different religion concepts and beliefs and for that the beneficiary had been physically hurt by one of the elder brother and to proof all of that the beneficiary has shared the photos to the petitioner (wife) and it’s been more than a month that this happened. Life is getting difficult for a beneficiary because lack of care, respect, and attention. Should we apply for expediting the case? Is this a solid reason? is it going to affect our current case which is currently at nvc. Kindly spare some of your precious time and give out the best advice with explanation.

Sounds like a Police matter?

Sounds like the closest reason to expedite would be fear of physical harm. This will need to be proven, possibly by providing a police report.

Expedite requests do not harm your case. If the expedite request is denied, your case continues its process as normal.
