Hello All, I’ve been silently reading through and just caught up with the latest comments. I’ve only just started my journey May, 2021 (filed concurrently) and I did my biometrics this week (Aug, 2021). Biometrics is not yet reflecting on the lawfully app, Case Tracker App or uscis website and im yet to get any PF, RFE or EAD.

it would be a lot easier and less worrisome if I could get my Combo card soon so I can start working.

The group comments gives hope though.

I'm in the same boat, applied concurrently in April 2021, biometrics reused in May 2021, no update since then, keeping my fingers crossed for a quick EAD hopefully I get it before I get even more depressed !

What do you all do to cope up with this wait - having gone through the long wait times you must've developed some coping skills ?

Having a conscientious nature makes one even more depressed for not being able to work or play a part in the society !

hi, welcome to the group. i'm also a new filer, filed i360-i485-i765-i131 together on june 11 2021. biometrics reuse for i360 and i485 notice received on july 22 2021. some get biometric appointment for i765 seperately some says they reused bios for i765 as well even though it didn't update online. I called uscis couple times to ask about that but since it's vawa no information given on the phone. I am currently watching all forums to get a better understanding and hopefully to receive EAD soon. Good luck and be patient.

I'll suggest not to go that route. Use your congressperson/Senator to follow up. Mine took 40 months just for the VAWA approval and GC got approved subsequently.

Patience is necessary during the waiting game.

If you have money for an attorney I would go that route. Some congress  people don't answer immigration requests. That depends on the state. I don't understand how some people here are talking about patience and staying humble and not bother USCIS and normalizing 3, 4 years waiting time. The fact that we are being treated like secondary human beings doesn't mean we need to act this way.

I think some cases are straightforward so they get approved quickly to get them out of the way. Then they take their time to deal with the "complicated cases".  Just my opinion.

I applied for 485, 131 and 765 September 29 last year and my 765 is out of normal processing time but I'm still waiting patiently.

hm I got my EAD delivered yesterday. Very fast approval. Filed on 04/01 this year. But I360 - silence...

Thanks so much.  So my previous lawyer did that in the past for me - last PF extension I have is from 2020 . Do you know how long it will take for the approval? My new lawyer is in vacation but she said she represents me only for the Request of evidence for Vawa.  🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

It’s hard to tell . Usually it’s automatically renewed . Since they moved to a new office they are little behind on issuing any type of notices .

If your I-360 is approved you won’t be able to get a PF . The purpose of PF is to give you a “shield” from deportation while your case is being adjudicated and also qualifies for some benefits . Once the I 360 is approved they won’t issue the PF anymore .If you applied before June 22 2019 . You can put an inquiry through your lawyer . They usually have hotline email that they communicate with USCIS .

You need to learn to let go of things that you can’t change or have control over . Get an app that notifies if there is an update in your case . So that you won’t check everyday on the website and get anxious, frustrated . Gym or any sports is a must !!! Try to think of a goal or plan you can set to achieve while waiting for your decision.
