Hi All,

I filled  I-360/I-485/I-765 on Feb-2019

 

Filed Office ( Long Island, NY )

 

C31 EAD - Arrived on March - 2021

I-485 - Transferred on March 8 - 2021

I-360  Approval Letter Arrived in May - 2021

 

When i check processing time for I-485 fro Long Island, NY , the date is June,29-2019

 

My priority date was Feb-25, 2019

 

It's been 4 Months over priority date.

 

Should I contact USCIS or wait?

Your priority date for your I485 starts counting from when it was transferred to your local office from Vermont. It does not start from the date you first filed. I stand to be corrected.

That's not correct, based on post from many people from here, once they get approved for I-360, most people get i-485 interview based on original filling date.

Renew your combo card because  sometimes you  never know if you are on FBI background check or not, and FBI background check sometimes delay your case 😊

Actually the count does start after local office received your file from Vermont.  NY local office is taking around 14 months and up to process I-485 after I-360 approval.  I am also from NYC I waited 17 months after I-360 approval. Long Island office could be a little less wait maybe 12 months or so and it depends on the officer.

After VSC approved your I-360 package that’s when Uscis (VSC) will send your I-360 and I-485  forms to NBC to prepare your case for GC interview.

 

 If your I-360 (VAWA) got approved your GC interview should be based on I-360 (VAWA) and of course yes or no questions at your local office 😊

Contact Uscis or you can just contact your congressperson to inquire for you, that works a little more stronger 😊

If it was C31, it would say card production under your I-360 case number

No you don't need to submit for c31, they send it automatically once i360 approved.  They 'll also send you under c09 bc you already filed ,so you 'll have 2 ead

No they will not automatically send you a C31, and you cannot apply for it because you do not have your approval letter.

your start time for I-485 does not start until March 2021, there are times when field offices are not busy and will process quicker

Oh wow..that's funny . I hope they will send soon because the extension letter 180 is about to expire and I need to work . I applied back in February.  How long does it take for the work authorization to be approved? It used to be 2,3 months. Thanks
