yes i did and it was way more  easier for me to be on top of my case and to keep a track on most of it since my lawyer wasn't efficient

Thanks. Here is my timeline. My local office is Dallas, Texas. 

Dec 2018 - I-360/I-485/I765/I-131 filed 
June 2020 - RFE (Police clearance from home country)
June 2020 - Sent mail to USCIS with required docs
Nov 2020 - VAWA approved
Jan 2021 - Case moved to local office.
May 2021 - Case is ready to be scheduled for interview. But USCIS scheduled it in different state where my attorney is. Attorney contacted USCIS asking to reschedule in Dallas
June 2021 - Interview rescheduled in Dallas for June 25th
June 25, 2021 - New card is being produced
June 28, 2021 - Case is approved for I-485

I have been waiting for an update on my I-360 application over 2 years now but I have only received prima facia 3 times. I filed my i-360 application march 2019. Last month I contacted my congressperson and the response was pending security check. Please do anyone know what I should expecting next and on the average how long will it take for an update in cases like my? Please responses will really be appreciated. Thank you

If you are on FBI security check there is nothing you can do to speed up the process, just keep contacting your congressperson for follow up, and always remember the longer your case the closer you are for approval 😊

Does fingerprints apply to all the forms like I-360/I-485/I-765? I got update last night that fingerprint applied to only I-485.

Yes fingerprint apply to all but for mine one fingerprint apply to form I-360 and I-485 and the other fingerprint apply to form I-765, but they did the fingerprint only one time and got stamps on both fingerprint documents,  I didn’t apply for advance parole

Thank you sheima for your reply. That makes sense and as you know USCIS works in a mysterious way. I guess I have to wait a little longer for them to apply my fingerprint to the rest of the form I-360 and I-765.

Hi Sandra,

If they ask you in for another interview and ask about abuse , if the abuser had abused your children as well and you also suffered abuse from inlaws, should you mention that? Since it was not directly between you and the abuser/spouse
