Just when I was merely THINKING about posting a quick midweek joke, we get TWO approvals.  Therefore, everyone will simply have to wait for the new joke till Sunday.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

OMG guys I received my GC on the mail today.  I can not believe it!!!!! A feeling of freedom I can’t explain! once again thanks everyone. The journey is long and sometimes it feels like it

Hey guys, My GC arrived today.  I can't even explain the feeling, but I just know that I'm going to start living life. My only advise for you is to be patience and believe in god.  🙏

Oh wow congratulations..!!! Your journey of getting the green card has finally ended…these kind of posts give so much positivity to all of us here waiting for good news. I applied August 2019 , vawa approved April 2019. After that no updates on i485. What kind of updates did you get on your i485? Please share the timeline and did they ask you for medical?

was your vawa approved Jan2019 or was that when you filed for I-485?

My office is also Miami. 

08/2017 - Married USC

09/2017 - Application for I-485, I-765, I-131

12/2017 - Approval  I-765, I-131

09/2018 Renewal application for I-765, I-131

04/2019 - I-485 interview scheduled 

04/2019 - I-485 denied, husband withdrew

05/2019 - Application for  I-360, I-485, I-765, I-131 

12/2019 EAD, AP approval

07/2020 EAD, AP renewal sent to Vermont

10/2020 EAD, AP Approval

11/2020 VAWA I-360 Approved (C31 produced)

01/2021 I-360 status changed to case approved

03/2021 - I-693 deficient notice from national benefit center

Good Morning,

 

September 2019 filer here. A few days ago the status on i360 changed to New card is being produced and i just received my EAD. Does this mean vawa approved? Because I haven’t seen any status update after that since two week or received approval notice. 
However, my i485 which was pending during vawa filing and requested to be held in abeyance, has had two updates for ‘case transferred and new office has jurisdiction’. Any leads on what may be happening? Can I expect something soon?

your I-485 was probably sent back to your local office!!

My office is also Miami. 

I filled all together in jan 2019. I 360 , i765, I 485. They requested for medical on May 29th. My lawyer did not see it onvtime. I turned in the medical 3rd July. After 12 days I got approval.  God is awesome.

Please I have another question. Please I want to do my divorce. I dont know how to start. What do I need to do and where so I go for it . I am in Orlando florida now. How long does it take. What do I file. I dont need anything from him, no kids together. What do I file for.

In the case of no children and no joint property, in Orlando Fl, you do Simplified Dissolution of Marriage check the county court instructions. There are many online divorce service they will fill out all the forms for you.. But is best if you visit the court personally.
