I did my interview in June 2021 has I stated in my previous thread, I  received rfe after interview for medical which uscis received June 23, 2021 and just now I can celebrate,  I can sing,  I can dance,  I can jump, I am screaming  my head off...my card is in production. 

Guys I know it is not an easy road .but God is in control and he will carry all of us through this journey with a positive out come..

One of my best friends is getting his green card and to celebrate we want to travel to Brazil.(I’ve EU citizenship)

I bought the ticket hoping that I would have my new card but now is missing one month to travel and I’m afraid that it won’t update...

 

I really would like to go but I only have the paper with the six month extension my EAD expired on June. 

I-765 + I-131 Received and Fees waived - 162 Days ago

 

I-360(Jan 2020) Name was Updated(Maybe because I changed attorneys) - 93 Days ago

 

PS: I’ve traveled on AP before to Italy

If I understand your narrative correctly, you are still waiting for your AP and the existing one expired this June? Be advised that you can only travel with a valid AP. If they do not send it before the date of your trip then you may have to forego the trip or postpone! It is my understanding, that you only travel with the valid AP document!👍

Hi everyone, I have a question. I applied for C09 work authorization renewal in October 2020 but I got C31 EAD card in January 2021. Now I’m about to send my renewal under category C31 before it expires in the next 6months but I got a biometric appointment notice for the EAD C09 today since October that I’ve applied. I’m confused, don’t know if I should hold on with the C31 renewal or I should go ahead.

It’s tricky because the card expired June 2021

I’ve two receipts I-765 and I-131

Only the I-765 receipt notes an automatic extension for my category(c9) of 180 after expired.

I think it’s too risky, I still have hope it will update before the flight.

Does anyone knows how long are taking I-765 renewals ?

Just out of curiosity when they sent you the C31 Card did you had any update on your I-360 process?

Oh yeah! The automatic extension only applies to the EAD! I hope as you do that it updates before the trip! Good luck. 👍

Yea that they delivered the card but it was approved in June

Hi guys don’t want to scare anyone out but lately I’ve been thinking of worst case scenarios. Do you guys know what happens if you get rejected? Can you be fined etc? I never fully considered the worst case scenarios.
