Congratulations, 🍾🎊🙏🏻🎈🎉

omg why NOID for address? I moved more than 30 times in past 5 years in US. On F1 i moved a lot and have different addresses. What was issue with your address?

Lol probably the io didn't like it, I've no idea. Everything will be fine as each case is different my dear. You'll surely be fine.

My current timeline

April 2021 - Concurrent filing i360, c09 - i485, i765, i131

April 2021 - Received the receipts

May 2021 - Finger prints reused for i485 and i765

I was abused by both my wife and her family and all this time I was trying to get things to work, she filled for a divorce as soon as possible to get me deported so that I cannot challenge her in the divorce proceedings which I never did. The constant verbal abuse and threats from her family to control me have caused me to live in hiding with a pal. This has taken a tremendous mental toll on me and I went from making a six figure salary in the best job I could hope for to nothing at all. I'm depressed and anxious all the time now.  It took a lot of courage for me to file for VAWA. I did not go after her legally during the abuse, as was suggested by a couple of family law attorneys who I had to reach out to, as I wanted to make things work and I liked her, my vows held me true to 'in good times or in bad times, for better or for worse', during a couple of occasions off physical abuse I was scared to even call the cops that lead to no documented evidence of abuse. But I did document my story in detail, 60+ pages thanks to Google maps timeline feature to recollect the days and days, with sworn affidavits from friends and family as per my attorney's recommendations.

I've been waiting for an update on the EAD or Prima facie but no luck yet. I've also had to continue seeing my therapist to fix myself and get back on the road to life but it has been very difficult. I'll be running out of money soon so no therapist or food 😔 and I don't know what I would be able to do next.

I worked with a few people before who are willing to hire me again if I have an EAD. They've also filled for my h1b via consular processing that got picked, so, I need an EAD w/parole as soon as possible to start working then go out get stamped and come back in on an h1b, what are my options to get the 765-131 sooner or is there anything else that I can do to make my case stronger?

The default divorce judgment has been passed without even serving me the papers properly.

Hi  everyone,

I'm writing this for a friend's case;

He went for the I-485 interview today for his VAWA case. He didn't pass the first GC interview when he attended

with his abusive wife, then he filed for VAWA and today was the interview day for him.

The IO asked him several questions about the interview that he went with his wife. My friend says that

the IO was very skeptical and didn't seem to be satisfied with the answers my friend gave. His attorney

also was present at the interview and he believed that this case will not be approved.

What are the other steps if they deny the petition? What my friend can do?

Thanks.

ok thanks, in your experience have they re-used biometrics if it's still within 12-15 months? or should i expect a biometric letter too

they can either reuse, ask you to do biometrics again or approve without bio, they approved my first ead that way, no biometrics, just did bio this year.

“ Everything you are going through will soon make sense and you will look back and be thankful that everything happened the way it did. Trust the change that is taking  place in your life right now, even if it feels messy and scary. You are on the right track.”

Handle VAWA stress like a dog would:  if you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away. ©Tx bone 2021😂😂

Congrats on this moment, I can definitely imagine how joyous you feel, and may this joy and good news extend to everyone else still on the journey. But what do they mean address history not in line?

Did you submit psychological evaluation or police report?

Thanks so much for the wishes and sharing this moment with everyone in this journey. From my understanding the address on my i-20 from school wasn't up to the duration stated when it changed to my abusers address when we both lived together, so his understanding was that I didn't complete school which I did way earlier just to go and get abused unfortunately. In my waiver I listed every address with explanation just to clarify and even added more upgrades to my education (online and in person classes) just for them to understand that I didn't stop but continued learning even thru my abuse and waiting all this while.
