Thank you. But ive already given my marriage i485 interview. Didnt get green card then cuz medicals were missing. And then i360 happened where i485 was requested to be held in abeyance. Will an interview be required again? Any chances this may be the i485 card?

did you got requested to send your medicals? if they ask for medicals to be sent , then your interview will be waived.

Medicals were submitted a few days after the interview. Waited for the card for a couple months and that was the phase I was a victim of domestic  violence. Then i360 was filed in sep 2019.

Then could be your green card, actually vermont already knows if you receive the C09 EAD When i made inquires about my EAD they already wrote it and let me know that i filled EAD under c09 also.

Hello Family, I hope everyone is doing well, It's nice to see a lot of approvals, I am May 2019, no third prima facia yet still pending, Any body same month filer?

(2) Sent in EAD Renewal March 16 2021 still waiting, I am fixing to send in Psychatrist letter, I just wondering, should I also send in New medicals?

I didn't send any medicals, when I was filing for Vawa, the only medical I did sent were in 2018 while family with my ex-?

any suggestion would be highly appreciated,

It's nice to see, the processing times coming close to May 20th, since that's the date they received my VAWA.

Medicals are not required for vawa adjudication.  However, you may send in evidences that can help your i360 petition anytime before your case is decided! USCIS will request Medicals if needed at the point of i485 processing. Judging from your timeline, it may be requested..just wait for it!😊👍

Be advised that interviews are based solely at the discretion of the adjudicating officer. We are free to speculate, but USCIS will do what they decide! You mentioned that the status updated on your i360 petition..so it’s likely your vawa petition! Congratulations!🎈🎉🍾🎊

Unfortunately there is no chance for i-485 card. However good thing is that if they call you for an interview it would be very straight forward. Just yes and no questions. There are few people here who got approved without interview as well.

I-485 is approved by your local field office not by Vermont.

Hello,

I posted last week that my I-765 C9 has fallen outside of the normal processing times. My attorney has recommended that I call the USCIS Customer Contact Center, however when I spoke to a live agent they said that they cannot discuss any aspect of my application due to the confidential nature of VAWA. I reached out to my congresswoman’s office but I still haven’t heard back from them. What other options do I have to inquire about my case? The agent I spoke to recommended I write to the service center, but I’m not sure if my I-765 is at VSC or NBC ( I did not file my I-485 & I-765 concurrently with I-360; I filed them only after my I-360 was approved). Any help or insights are greatly appreciated, please.

Hello everyone ,

Seems like my i485 is outside of the processing time.. my attorney can't submit the request due to her license issues , congressman sent 4 requests and no respond (nyc). @sandranj Sandra could you please advise what I should do in this situation ? Should I contact Senator as this is the only way left or there is anyhow I contact uscis myself rather then infopass ( I went there in February and they said they can't give me any info on i485 ,I asked them if it s in the local office they said they r not allowed to say that ) .Also if I'm gonna withdraw my attn ( as she can't handle cases I think ) do I have to sign any form with her or how does it work ? Thank you in advance

Hello all,

My I-485 was approved yesterday  Thanks to everyone here for providing guidance and answering questions 😀😘❤️

Here is my timeline. My local office is Dallas, Texas.

Dec 2018 - I-360/I-485/I765/I-131 filed
June 2020 - RFE (Police clearance from home country)
June 2020 - Sent mail to USCIS with required docs
Nov 2020 - VAWA approved
Jan 2021 - Case moved to local office.
May 2021 - Case is ready to be scheduled for interview. But USCIS scheduled it in different state where my attorney is. Attorney contacted USCIS asking to reschedule in Dallas
June 2021 - Interview rescheduled in Dallas for June 25th
June 25, 2021 - New card is being produced
June 28, 2021 - Case is approved for I-485

Interview went about 30 min
- No VAWA questions asked.
- Asked questions from I-485 - Yes or No and Bio. related
- Asked about my arrival/departure dates to/from USA
- Asked about divorce date and my current marital status
- Asked if I am currently employed
- Only took medical envelope. No other docs asked.

The officer took my biometrics and said my status will change by end of day. Status changed to card is being produced in 3 hrs.

Feel free to ask if any of you have any questions.

Good luck everyone!!! ✌️

Congrats
