For me after vawa approval, I updated my address and got this update! I still feel that’s the generic update for when they receive any correspondence concerning your case or concerning you! Some people say they still receive it even without sending anything… could still be they get info perhaps within USCIS offices…maybe even info from your i485….could be anything really!🤷🏻‍♀️

i made inquires through congress regarding my ead, i think maybe for this they updated it.

Contact your congressperson or if you prefer  fill out form I-765 category 31.

Thanks Sandranj  for your reply. I've one Job offer I don't know how much time it is going to take after contacting Congressperson to get my greencard.

Sandranj could you please let me know Can I fill I-765 and directly send it to USCIS or should I've to send it to attorney first.

You just fille out I-765 and send directly to uscis. You don't have to send to your attorney at all.

The officer will forward your I-485 to the USCIS local office you currently leave so they can conduct your interview. You lawyer may sent a letter requesting the local office that sent interview notice to please transfer to your current state local office. My friend went thru this Vermont is very messy with address change.

But can I go for interview there? Or they gonna reschedule my interview in state I live right now anyway even tho I’ll show up there?

I mean I don’t care if I need to go I’m ready to go my question if they gonna tell me something like we can’t proceed your interview or? Thanks!

I think Sandra can answer this question. but what i think is, they might say that however, what if you do not go then they might deny your application.

I would go there with not much expectations.
