I do have a USCIS account with all my cases on it

, that's where I saw that they used the fingerprints I gave a few years back. Is it supposed to tell you when your case is transferred?

Yeah it pops up in the case tracker and they send you a paper notice that they send the case to another office which now has jurisdiction over it and any inquiries should be directed there.

Hi everyone I  am about to file vawa.

Should I file it right away or wait for the reconciliation bill to pass the senate, because I qualify as essential worker and I was told it will pass any time soon, that it's just at the desk of the parliamentarian? O was also told that the house judiciary voted 19/25.

Please what do I do.I don't want to waist money on legal fees.

I wouldn't count on congress to do a single god damn thing tbh. I don't think the parliamentarian yet decided if immigration can be shoved into a reconciliation bill.

Personally I'd just file for VAWA, but if you want to sit around for a week or two, and you're not close to the deadline, you can wait and see.

Hi everyone. I'm about to file a VAWA petition and I was wondering if I should submit any other forms apart from the I-360 if my I-485 gets held in abeyance. Also, what should I include on the cover letter? And how should I organize the package?

No, just the I-360. Then when you get the receipt notice you'll send a copy of it to the office that has your I-485.

Are you DIYing it? The format for the personal affidavit that I've generally seen is: Your personal background, your relationship and marriage, and abuse in 3 parts. Arrange the documents into exhibits, and when you reference an event of some sort related to an exhibit put (Exhibit X) after the sentence raising the claim.

Their RFE’ s basically stated that our joint insurance does not prove anything and that I should submit things such as proofs of mortgage, joint bank accounts etc..

I explained them that my spouse was extremely controlling and that I could not have any chance to list myself on his mortgage or even start a bank account with him. I have no idea why are they asking for those kind of proofs of bona fide as if it was a regular marriage case.

August 19’

2019??? you applied ? did you provide like martial pictures vacation any other things? because i feel you it is not easy to get any documents with spouse specially when they are up to something they will not open anything with you in shared name, same thing happened to me. Thank you for letting me know.

may I ask you if you have had everything they’ve been asking for?  The only reason I’m asking is that they specifically requested a ton of finance-related proofs from me under my bona-fide RFE and I literally had nothing..

I’ve been waiting to hear back from them for 4 mo already and I am freaking out that they are preparing denial. Thank you

I already sent them tons of evidence in my initial filing,  and the admitted that my marriage was in good faith , however they said they want more because I am in removal proceedings,  and I need to prove it beyond any reasonable doubt.
