My Vawa was finally approved after I got my C31 card since January 2020… I’m so happy, thanks for all the encouragements. The next thing is 1485, hopefully soon. March 2018 filer

So you filed I-360 in March 2018 and waited 3 years and 3 months for its approval? That's crazy! Do you know why so long? Did you reach Ombudsman/congressmen while being out of processing times or just patiently waited? Congrats

I waited patiently… I was asked for RFE in June 2020, sent August 2020 and received C31 EAD card Jan 2021 and was approved few days ago. It was crazy but I thank God. Thanks

A DIFFERENT TYPE OF HELL

 

A man dies and goes to Hell.  Once there, he finds that there is a different hell for each country, so he tries to seek out the least painful one.

 

At the door to German Hell, he is told, "First, they put you in an electric chair for an hour.  Next, they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour.  Then, the German Devil comes in and whips you for the rest of the day."

 

He doesn't like the sound of that, so he checks out American Hell, Russian Hell, and many more.  They are all similarly gruesome.

 

However, at Italian Hell, a long line of people is waiting to get in.  Amazed, he asks, "What do they do here?"

 

He is told, "First, they put you in an electric chair for an hour.  Next, they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour.  Then, the Italian Devil comes in and whips you for the rest of the day."

 

"But that's the same as the others," says the man.  "Why are so many people waiting to get in?"

 

"Because of the power outages, the electric chair doesn't work.  The nails were paid for but were never supplied, so the bed is quite comfortable.  And the Italian Devil used to be a civil servant, so he comes in, signs his time sheet, and goes back home to sleep and conduct his own private business."
