This is great! it remind me of the officer from NYC who also called me for my marriage interview same attitude, same professionalism, this is a peace of mind even thought you need to wait you can keep renewing your EAD now they are giving it for 2yrs work keep your mind occupied and wait for the I-360 approval. Many blessings!

Yea she was kind enough !! i hope they do not do interview  again and it goes to straight approval.  Did you had another interview after approval?

hi, I got a green card through vawa. I moved to a different state. Do i need to update my address by mailing the AR11 form to Vermont, or can I do it just by filing and submitting the form online?

on the USCIS website: https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange says that if I previously filed and/or have a pending or approved form 485 or 765 under VAWA, I should mail the form to Vermont but I'm not sure if the same applies for someone who already got the green card? thanks

You must update your address by mail.

you go to local police department they take your finger prints and pic to check you record. Then they give you a report that your are not a criminal or have any charges against you.

Good Morning Fam, '

You all are amazing thanks for always answering our inquires regarding anything. So today i had my i485 interview on marriage petition. I came to the point that i gave up whatever will happen will happen. Saw lot of people are so nervous to even talk to the front desk for checking in. I was just waiting , got there early and security guard in that floor kept on coming to me and asked for my number sigh !!! then i was called after long wait. The interviewer did not even took me inside. She asked me if i was going to pursue with i30 or i360 and that she knows i have filled i360 but she did not receive my petition from vermont yet so she cannot interview me. I already did my medicals incase but she did not take any documents she said she was sorry for the abuse and that when my petition gets approved i have to come back again for interview. She said that i can continue to work with my work permit, it just little thing for now until i get approved so i can live and also she mentioned that she wont deny any of my pending application it will remain pending until my vawa gets approved. Now another wait begins

I don't understand. So she and you waisted time and resources just to send you home? Why to schedule an interview if the officer knew there was nothing she could do or she didn't know? I'm confused.
