Funny you asked. My combo card expires today.

The airport was Dulles ( Virginia) for both trips.

You can normally apply 180 days prior expiration date. Mine expires in February. I’m planning on sending it for renewal in September.
The only thing that I’m confused about is if I sent it for renewal, can I still travel with old AP that haven’t expired yet?

hi, I got a green card through vawa. I moved to a different state. Do i need to update my address by mailing the AR11 form to Vermont, or can I do it just by filing and submitting the form online?

on the USCIS website: https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange says that if I previously filed and/or have a pending or approved form 485 or 765 under VAWA, I should mail the form to Vermont but I'm not sure if the same applies for someone who already got the green card? thanks

Sent AR-11 Form sign with copy of your GC to Vermont Service but since they are very messy I will also do it online just in case.

Hello everyone,

Did anyone travel outside of USA with Advanced Parole recently?
Is it safe to travel this days?
I’m so afraid if I go that they won’t let me back into USA.

I travelled 3 times in last 10 months. My most recent was from July this year to Mid August. I spent almost 40 days. Came to JFK in all three times. No issues whatsoever. Secondary inspections was no longer than 4 mins.

Thank you!
Would you mind telling what country did you travel to?
Do you know if I have pending renewal request for AP, can I travel with the one that haven’t expired yet?

I travelled to India.

When i travelled first 2 times, i already had one pending. While i was away mine second was approved as well.

Yes you can travel if you have valid AP and pending as the same time.

I think India was on that list of proclamation that says if you go to some countries (including India), you have to quarantine for 14 days before coming back to USA. How did that work for you?

How long did you wait for approval of second AP?

I don't think it should be a problem as long as you come back before your current one expires. However, you should ask someone who knows for sure.

Edit: looks like someone answered your question. 🙂

Good Morning Fam, '

You all are amazing thanks for always answering our inquires regarding anything. So today i had my i485 interview on marriage petition. I came to the point that i gave up whatever will happen will happen. Saw lot of people are so nervous to even talk to the front desk for checking in. I was just waiting , got there early and security guard in that floor kept on coming to me and asked for my number sigh !!! then i was called after long wait. The interviewer did not even took me inside. She asked me if i was going to pursue with i30 or i360 and that she knows i have filled i360 but she did not receive my petition from vermont yet so she cannot interview me. I already did my medicals incase but she did not take any documents she said she was sorry for the abuse and that when my petition gets approved i have to come back again for interview. She said that i can continue to work with my work permit, it just little thing for now until i get approved so i can live and also she mentioned that she wont deny any of my pending application it will remain pending until my vawa gets approved. Now another wait begins

This is great! it remind me of the officer from NYC who also called me for my marriage interview same attitude, same professionalism, this is a peace of mind even thought you need to wait you can keep renewing your EAD now they are giving it for 2yrs work keep your mind occupied and wait for the I-360 approval. Many blessings!
