Applied  I-130,  I-485  -- November 2017

Interview Scheduled --September 2018 (However, my spouse threatened  and abused me, and did not show up for the interview. My lawyer talked with USCIS and changed the case Vawa and kept open my I-485 case.)

Applied I-360 --October 2018

C31 EAD received  --October 2020

I-360 Approved  -- December 2020

Applied EAD and AP -- June 2021

 

I am afraid that I will lose my job, If I do not get my EAD before the first week of October. They have not even cashed my checks yet. I know I have one more month, but I am so nervous. What should I do if I do not receive my EAD before October? Also, my lawyer is telling me that I might receive my interview notification about min 12-18 months. Any idea what is the timeline for the Interview so far?

You can reach out to congress person to expedite your request if your HR request new EAD.

However, if you have previous valid EAD you will get 6 month extension with EAD receipt.

Congratulations. Did you receive a PF at anytime?  I filled August 2020, responded to RFE and still no PF. Worried!

hi, I got a green card through vawa. I moved to a different state. Do i need to update my address by mailing the AR11 form to Vermont, or can I do it just by filing and submitting the form online?

on the USCIS website: https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange says that if I previously filed and/or have a pending or approved form 485 or 765 under VAWA, I should mail the form to Vermont but I'm not sure if the same applies for someone who already got the green card? thanks

12/2017 - Approval  I-765, I-131

09/2018 Renewal application for I-765, I-131

04/2019 - I-485 interview scheduled 

04/2019 - I-485 denied, husband withdrew

05/2019 - Application for  I-360, I-485, I-765, I-131 

12/2019 EAD, AP approval

07/2020 EAD, AP renewal sent to Vermont

10/2020 EAD, AP Approval

11/2020 VAWA I-360 Approved (C31 produced)

01/2021 I-360 status changed to case approved

03/2021 - I-693 deficient notice from national benefit center

I then travelled to Senegal again in July for a month and came back just 2 weeks ago. Secondary inspection again, and everything went well. 

 

To be honest, I was very afraid to go too. I was one of those who did not want to risk it and I just wanted to see my mom so baaaaad. This a personal decision and you should just do what works for you. 

 

 By the way,  has anyone applied for renewal recently? How long does it take now?

I need to apply for renewal soon. When does yours expire? 
What airport did you arrive to when you flew back to USA?

Be aware if you go to European Union Countries (Schengen countries) or even transfer from  European Union countries. You have to quarantine urself 14 days somewhere which is not Schengen countries. My friend went to Poland and now quarantine 14 days in Turkey.

I’m aware of it. I’m not planning on going to Schengen Countries.

Oh no, did you friend make it back to USA yet?

I second this. With the pandemic, you need to check the rules for every country you visit. For instance, I got a COVID test even though the government of Turkey was fine with a vaccination card o the week I travelled. I had both just in case.

Funny you asked. My combo card expires today. 

The airport was Dulles ( Virginia) for both trips.
