06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I came at JFK NY. With AP they always take you to the secondary inspection. I was there for almost 3 minutes. They just check in the system and stamp the passport. I have travelled on AP for few times already and each time i am there not more than 5 mins. It was pretty straight forward so far.

Question - how long after submitting updated medicals (my initial medicals expired because its been over 3 years of pending I485) should I be expecting for an interview notice ? And I heard that USCIS could be requesting medicals to bring with you to an interview or to mail it to them...does it mean that 485 case will be adjudicated without an interview if my RFE asked to mail it to them ?

Most likely it will be adjudicated without interview . No one can tell exactly how many days it takes for them to process it . I have read people have gotten decision as fast as 9 days to  83 days so far .

If you filed October 2019 . Probably they are finalizing your case I assume . I applied in September 2019 and got my EAD card a little over 2 month ago . Soon enough hopefully 🙏

Congratulations!!!! If they asked you to mail in your medical it’s likely they  waived your interview.

 

After submitting your medical it takes anywhere from a week to four months to get your GC, mine took about two months to get my GC, am looking at it right now as am texting this message, good luck 😊

I sent my REF in NOV-2020, and status changed to Correspondence  Received, after that it was completely silent for 5 month and next Updated was We Mailed you a new Card and it was C31 EAD, so mine took 5 month for the update. My lawyer told me that they will investigate based on your RFE response, so if you RFE is simple that they will take decision faster otherwise it will take some time.

I have a question about Outside Normal Processing Time, i send online request for Outside Normal Processing Time and they updated status saying we have responded to request but neither me nor my lawyer got anything.

I did got email from the indicated that they received the request i should expect response by Aug 7th.

 

Does the response comes in as a Letter in Mail or they will send and E-mail.

Feb - 18 - 2019  - I360/I-485/I-765 Filled  ( Vermont )

Sep - 17 -2019   - I-765 Approved. (C9)

Your I-485 is base on an approved Vawa, they will not respond to an online e-request, they will mail you a letter to write to Vermont Service Center to inquiry.  The best way to inquiry is thru congressman office or Senator.

DAMN, i was asked for lot of things since they did not receive my packet it was cross connected and i send it again now complete silence
