Preventing losing citizenship in home country (merged topics)

There are some people keep the 2 passports But they don’t travel directly to US from their home country and vice versa. 

for example, 

they travel from US to a country somewhere near their home country. Enter that country then exist to go to their home country . They do the same when they come back to the US.
