Domiciled in the U.S. but submitting NVC docs while abroad?

I am a U.S.C. petitioner who used to live abroad with my spouse. I moved back recently and am domiciled in the U.S. (U.S. job, do not have a driver's license yet and live with my parents). However, I will be visiting my spouse abroad soon and would like to review and submit all NVC docs together from his country. Has anyone ever done this, and can NVC pick up on the fact that I was abroad while submitting the docs which could lead to any negative consequences (not believing I am domiciled in the U.S.)? Is this something I should be concerned about? Inviting @pushbrk, @Ontarkie @Nitas_man @NikLR to advise. Thanks!

I am afraid that given I lived abroad for a while before, and the only strong indications of U.S. domicile I have so far are U.S. job and my stay in the U.S. (no driver's license, apartment lease etc.), if I submit NVC while abroad, CO may think I was not domiciled at the time of submittig NVC docs?

Obviously you have never heard of a VPN

CO have access to your travel history. Using a VPN is not advised if submitting from abroad is not the right thing to do. It is better to take the pain and effort to submit while in the U.S. rather than go through a denial because one submitted from abroad.

I've been staying abroad with my husband but still have proof of domicile in the US. Theres not an issue as long as you can prove it. I filed everything abroad starting with the I-130. Again as long as youre not trying to deny anything and you have proof of everything theres nothing to worry about. Lots of people are in the same situation.  Editing to say I submitted my W2, Drivers license, US bank statements, credit card statements, car insurance etc. Submit as much as you can proving you are domiciled in the US and you shouldnt have an issue.

Nonsense.  Where you are at the moment, and where you are domiciled can be two things.  Obviously the OP petitioner is living in and working in the USA.  It doesn't matter one little bit where they are located when submitting documents to NVC.  VPN is not a problem but also not necessary for the purpose described.  VPN is neither advised or not advised, just not needed for the concern expressed. It might be for some other issue.  Some documents are commonly uploaded by the visa applicant from abroad anyway.  Don't lie, but submitting from abroad is a nonissue.
