Can someone explain to me HOW to count the days on the Immigration Timeline? For example: over the last 90 days the Vermont Service Center reports that it takes an average of 70 days to get approved. Does that start from the day i SENT my k1 application? Or from the date they recieve it? Does it include weekend days when counting? Is it a straight 70 days or ONLY business days? HELP

Its counted from the day they RECIEVE it, and its in business days as they are not open or working on weekends.

I've seen this topic posted before - varying opinions on when the timeline starts (Sent vs Receive Dates) - I believe it is the 'Received Date' and the count is Calendar Days (including weekends).

I am sure the timeline function only does simple math between dates and does not account for weekends...

YMMV

It does include weekends.

Thank you....that helps. I was getting depressed counting BUSINESS days. Now it doesn't seem SOOOOOOO long. So does anyone know....My date for decision on my timeline says Sept 13. Is this using the overall AVERAGE of ALL service centers?

No, each service center has its own discreet statistics

I saw that. VSC is currently at like 72 days till noa2 approval. But the date in my PERSONAL timeline. The adjudication date. Says Around sept 13. None of the numbers seem to add up to Sept 13. Thats why I was wondering how they got it. Thanks so much to all.
